What you need
Windows 11 and a working microphone.
One installer includes everything Swift Speak needs. Download it, double-click, and follow the guided setup—no separate software, add-ons, or technical setup.
Swift Speak will ask to use your microphone. Prefer a different talk key? You can use Right Alt instead of Right Ctrl. Swift Speak currently works in English. Windows PCs with Snapdragon processors are not supported yet.
Dictate where you already work.
If you can click somewhere and see a cursor, Swift Speak is designed to write there—documents, email, messages, CRM records, browser forms, and more.
A few secure or specialized apps may block automatic insertion. When that happens, Swift Speak stops rather than putting your words in the wrong place.

Swift Speak 2.4.12 for Windows 11. It includes everything it needs and works locally after installation—no account, subscription, or internet connection required.
Frequently asked
Does it need the internet?
No. Swift Speak works entirely on your Windows PC. You only need the internet to download the installer or an update.
Does it save what I say?
No. Swift Speak does not keep recordings or a history of your dictations. Support files never include your words.
Can I add difficult company terms?
Yes. Add the names, acronyms, and work terms you use, and Swift Speak will know how you want them written.
Is this a subscription?
No. The $39 founding offer is a one-time purchase and includes every update to Swift Speak version 2.
How are updates installed?
When an update is available, the Swift Speak menu takes you to the official download page. You choose when to install it.
What happens if insertion fails?
Swift Speak keeps your latest dictation ready so you can retry it or copy it. It will never send your words to a different app.
